Cravings

Most cravings are not harmful and are usually limited to food items like cereal, satsumas, chocolate and often pickles and other slightly odd things like ice-cubes! As long as you are eating a balanced diet there should be no reason why you can’t indulge the odd craving. Obviously if the craving is for Big Macs or Macaroni Cheese, you shouldn’t eat this all day, every day so you will have to exercise some willpower.

If you develop cravings for any non-food items such as coal, mud or sponges (the cleaning variety) then you must speak to your doctor as it is not safe for you to eat these things.
