Mum of 2

Becca is Roger’s eldest daughter and has two little boys. She created and edits the Doctor and Daughter’s Guide to Pregnancy and is the mastermind behind Antenatal Classes in London.

When pregnant with her first son she was shocked by the lack of honest and reliable information available. She bullied her father into starting the website and the classes with her as she was convinced they could do better. Having an Obstetrician father at the end of the phone means that she has access to the very best information 24-7! This is a huge privilege which she has always wanted to share with as many people as possible – just ask her friends, many of whom have had Roger on speed dial throughout their reproductive years!!

She writes extensively as a pregnancy and postnatal expert for Stella, The Daily Telegraph, Boots MD, Baby London, Gurgle, Selfish Mother, MyBaba, Mumfidential, The Mother of all Lists, Nine in the Mirror, MyBaba and Mamamio. She also works for Little Village, a charity that helps to redistribute baby equipment to families who need it most.

Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Mr Roger Marwood MBBS MSc. F.R.C.O.G is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

He has 40 years experience working in a busy NHS hospital and has delivered more than 5000 babies and has personally supervised around 20 000! He is also a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Imperial College, where he is an acclaimed and popular teacher.

He is a past president of the Royal Society of Medicine and has worked extensively for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, for whom he is a media spokesperson.

Roger is a Father to 3 and Dabda (Grandfather) to 5.  Roger and his daughter Becca have been running the Doctor and Daughter’s Guide to Pregnancy for 5 years and Antenatal Classes in London for 2 years

Mum of 4

Emmie is mum to 3 little girls, and has just had a baby boy.  She has founded several successful media and marketing companies.  Like Becca, she believes that there is a real need for honest information about pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Following a difficult first birth she found herself suffering from severe anxiety around her subsequent births and truly believes that had she been better prepared (and informed) she would not have been so traumatised by the whole experience.

She approached Roger and Becca with the idea to take their very successful classes online so that mums and their families could benefit from their fantastic advice and support.
